For those teachers who prefer having bound, print resources for their students and want to avoid printing individual worksheets, we have compiled a list of suggested materials that you may add-on to your digital subscription.


Student Workbook The Student Workbook consists of consumable worksheets that are used in conjunction with the Digital Student Textbook. Students write on workbook pages instead of printing individual workbook pages from the Digital Student Textbook.

Student Test Book The Test Book is a consumable book that contains the pretest, chapter tests, and the posttest. Tests are presented in multiple formats. Students write on test book pages instead of the teacher printing individual Test Book pages from the Digital Teacher’s Manual.

Directions: Show the front of Card 7 to the students. Then, use the information below to introduce and review Card 7.


Teacher: I say it; then, you say it. Sound: /b/


NOTE: Always require students to watch your lips when you make this sound. B-Verse /b/ The Other Lip Popper!


NOTE: /b/ is called a Lip Popper because you make its sound by popping your lips apart with a burst of air.


Teaching Script:


1. B is a symbol for a consonant and makes one sound: /b/. 2. Its letter name is B.


3. The sound of b is voiced. NOTE: Have students check for “vibration” or “no vibration.” Visual Cue: Use the hand shapes for the letters b and d and say: Put b and d to bed!
