Welcome to Shurley English! We are excited that you will be teaching the Shurley language arts curriculum this year. Getting started with our digital materials is easy. Simply follow the steps below. If you need assistance along the way, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to help!
Step 1: Download the Shurley Portal
To begin, you must download the Shurley Portal. This software will serve as the application to access your digital materials. Be sure to download the Shurley Portal on all the devices you and your students plan to use during language arts time.

Step 2: Set up the Student Account
Your student will receive an email from Shurley English with a link to set up his/her account. Your student will be asked to create a password and confirm the password.
If you have a younger student, you may need to provide assistance with this task.
Step 3: Log in to the Shurley Portal and Start Learning
Once you have downloaded the Shurley Portal, you may launch the app and log in using your email address and password.
- Log in to your Shurley Portal.
- Go to the Subscriptions tile.
- Open your eBook.
- Begin your language arts adventure with Shurley English!
Note: The teacher should log in using his/her email address to access the Teacher's Manual. The student should log in using his/her email address to access the Student eBook.
